General Notes
Seeds tend to ripen progressively along the flower stem. Surface sow. This species can be distinguished from the other short-lived Stylidium species (S. inundatum, S. despectum and S. beaugleholei) by its spherical, rather than linear, capsules. Suitable below powerlines.

Seed Collection
Capsules are 1.5-2mm in diameter, and nearly spherical. These turn from green to tan brown, and become brittle as they ripen. Seeds turn from green to red-orange at maturity. Hundreds of fine seed per fruiting stem. Cut stems, holding erect, and tip into bag.
