General Notes
Propagate from cuttings or division. Seed released within 3-14 days of seed maturity. Low maintenance plant. Suitable for heavy shade and poorly drained areas as it requires ample water, may die back to rootstock in dry conditions. Plant at 50cm intervals. Suitable below powerlines.

Seed Collection
Seeds contained in small, spherical capsules, 1.2mm in diameter. Capsules turn from green to tan when ripe, and become brittle. Seed also changes from green to light brown at maturity. Rub capsules against a fine wire screen to extract seed, and sieve to clean.
