Habitat Notes
Tasmanian endemic. Grows on skeletal granite soils, and in the cracks of granite slabs and boulders. Known only from The Hazards and Cape Tourville on the Freycinet Peninsula.

General Notes
Philotheca species are difficult to grow from seed. Nicking the hard seed coat and leaching the seed for 10 days may increase success. Smoke treatment or boiling water, or a combination of the two, may also work. Suitable below powerlines.
