Perennial herb with a stout taproot, leaves 1-9cm long and 0.5-3cm wide, leaflets lobed or divided. Leaves arranged in a basal rosette and sometimes erect, leafy branches.

Tasmanian endemic. Local on mountain summits on the northern and western Central Plateau.

General Notes
Propagate from seed. Characteristic smell, similar to carrot. From the same family as parsley, fennel, dill, coriander, cumin and caraway. Good for growing in spaces between native grass and sedge tussocks, can be added to stirfries. Suitable below powerlines.
