Habitat Notes

Widespread and abundant in rainforest, wet sclerophyll forest and fern gullies from sea- level to subalpine areas. Terrestrial on logs and rocks, or epiphytic on trees and Dicksonia. Will tolerate excessively shaded situations such as 'horizontal scrub'. In these conditions fronds are long and slender with little segmentation.
