Habitat Notes
Grows on mossy rocks, deep within the protection of large boulders or on semi-exposed rock ledges and crevices. Occurs on most exposed, doleritic high mountain summits in Tasmania. May be confused with matted forms of G magellania, G. gunnii or G. Garrettii.
