Shrub with grey-green, blunt-tipped leaves, 1-4cm long. The stems and leaves are covered with minute hairs, which give them a sandpaper texture and yellowish appearance.

General Notes
Easily propagated from cuttings. Requires pruning to retain bushy shape. Usually present after fire, when it appears in large numbers and lives for about 10 years. Not suitable below powerlines.
