Flowers
Flowers are slender, 2.5-3.5mm long and found at the end of the main branches. The flower tube is green and the petals are pale to deep pink, sometimes white.

Annual or perennial herb with slender, prostrate stems up to 60cm long, rooting at the base and sparingly branched. The leaves often have a black blotch near the middle, and the veins and margins are hairy.
