Habitat Notes

Tas. endemic. Possibly restricted to subalpine and alpine sandstone in the extreme south- east of the State. Grows from sheltered rock ledges with other G. species or as the sole species on extremely exposed sites.Most easily confused with G. poeppigiana but has larger fronds and lacks the creeping rhizome.

General Notes
