Small. The flowers are white and 5-petalled, with thin blue or purple lines on the inside of the petals, and borne on stems arising from the centre of the foliage.

Form
Small herb with a rosette of oval to lance-shaped leaves. The basal leaves are 10-40mm long, and the stem leaves are 12-25mm long.

Habitat Notes
Tasmanian endemic. Subalpine to alpine areas of eastern Tasmania, including alpine/subapline treeless vegetation in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

General Notes
Propagated from seed. Cold storage is recommended for best results, although temperature and duration required is unknown. Not often cultivated, but would be suitable for growing in containers, particularly in moist but well-drained soils, with high organic matter. Suitable below powerlines.
