General Notes
Fresh seed is best. Seed has an after-ripening period, and untreated seed generally has poor results. Removing the husks from the seed of this species was found to more than double germination. A number of Eragrostis species have mycorrhizal associations; incorporating a small amount of soil collected from under parent plants in the potting media is recommended. Can be grown from cuttings, but the success rate is low. Suitable below powerlines.
