General Notes
Surface sow seed in warm conditions; if not sown soon after collection, seed requires several months of cold dry storage. Heat treatment may improve results, especially for seed that is not fresh. Leaching (running water for 2-4 hours or soaking for 12 hours, changing the water every 4 hours) may also improve results. Grown easily by division of suckers. Bolboschoenus species have been used successfully in direct seeding. Suitable below powerlines.
