Seedheads are open & branched and contain numerous small seeds.harvest by cutting stalks with secateurs. if seed drops from seed- head when head is gently rubbed between fingers, the seed is ripe. sieve to clean

Seed has a 2-3 month after-ripening period. Usually good levels of germination follow storage. Seed should be lightly covered as light is needed for germination. Good for direct seeding in pots (2-3 seeds per pot) and in the fields.
