Form
Shrub (or tree to 8m in sheltered situations) with young branches covered in rusty hairs. Leaves are leathery, 1.5-3.5cm long, with veins somewhat impressed on the smooth upper surface. The lower surface is covered in rusty hairs.

Tasmanian endemic. Local near the West Coast and in mountains in the West, and on Flinders Island.

General Notes
Treat seed with hot water before sowing. When enough seed is available, Spyridium is suitable for direct seeding. Resistant to Phytophthora cinnamomi. Not suitable below powerlines.
