Habitat Notes
This form is common in sandy heathland and light forest but a form with bright yellow flowers and blue-green leaves also occurs in sandy heaths and in gravel ironstone soils. Tolerates most frosts and extended dry periods.

General Notes
Useful for recharge control plantings in conjunction with trees in hilly areas. Is often short lived in cultivation. Seems to require very good drainage and protection from other plants. Suitable below powerlines.
