Habitat Notes
Tas. endemic. Extends from subalpine woodlands to lower montane wet sclerophyll forests, and in the west is often found as a tall tree over rainforest.

General Notes
Tree form is very similar to E. johnstonii. The smooth trunk is very ornamental especially when wet, almost glows with beautiful shades of yellow, bronze and greenish-orange. Not suitable below powerlines.
