General Notes
Propagation from seed or cuttings. Seed germinates quickly and has high viability. Very hardy in most situations, and tolerates very dry conditions. Thrives in well-drained soil. Einadia spp. have been used successfully in direct seeding. Suitable below powerlines.

Seed Collection
Small succulent fruit becomes red and soft when ripe, each contains a single black, shiny seed. Seed is released within 3-14 days of maturity. The flesh can be left on the seed but it should be dried thoroughly soon after collection to avoid growing mould.
