General Notes
A distinctive and attractive plant rarely cultivated and difficult to maintain for more than a few years. May do well as a container plant in fermeries. Tip pruning from an early stage promotes bushy growth. Not suitable below powerlines.

May be propagated from stem cuttings which are difficult to strike. It is worth trying root cuttings and stem layering. Seems to spread by suckering.
