General Notes
The tussocks provide important habitat around pools a nd waterways, for small animals including birds, frogs, fish and crustaceans. The seed probably provides food for birds including finches, pigeons and parrots. Used in traditional Palawa basket weaving. Also used in modern basket weaving. Suitable below powerlines.
