General Notes
Plants difficult to find when not in flower. Propagation from seed or cuttings. Needs well-drained, sunny situation. The roots are edible, but not particularly tasty. A deconcoction of the whole plant was traditionally drunk in New South Wales to treat indigestion, stomachache and diarrhoea. Suitable below powerlines.

Seed capsules papery, 6-8mm round which turn tan brown & brittle when mature. Seeds black/dark brown, hard, 4 per capsule. To extract seed, dry & crush pod, sieve to clean.
